A Funny Biker Story

A biker is riding by the zoo, when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion’s cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents. The biker jumps off his bike, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly.

A reporter from The New York Times has seen the whole scene, and addressing the biker, says, “Sir, that was the most gallant and brave thing I ever saw a man do in my entire life.”

“It was nothing, really, the lion was behind bars. I just saw the little kid in danger and acted as I felt right.”

“Well, I’ll make sure this won’t go unnoticed. I’m a journalist from the New York Times and tomorrow’s edition will have this on the page one.

What brand of motorcycle do you ride and what political party do you support?”

“A Harley Davidson and I vote for the Republican Party,” replied the biker.

The journalist leaves.

The following morning the biker buys The New York Times to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads on page one:

‘BIKER GANG MEMBER ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND STEALS HIS LUNCH.’

Sodomites in the Military

As a veteran of the US Army, I figured I'd offer my opinion on the subject of "Gays in the military" since the President has declared to repeal the "Don't ask, don't tell" law. It's my blog, so I can say or do whatever I please. To begin with, I will not use the euphemism, Gay. Rather, I will call those involved in that lifestyle what they are, Sodomites. After all, doesn't the homosexual lifestyle revolve around the act of sodomy in one way or another?

To begin with, let's look at the religious implications of the lifestyle. By the way, but if you don't like what I have to say, go to the next blog. Homosexuality is an abomination to the three major religions of the world: Christianity, Judaism, and Islam:

Christianity:
Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

Judaism:
“Do not lie with a male as one lies with a woman; it is an abhorrence” (Leviticus 18:22)
“If a man lies with a male as one lies with a woman, the two of them have done an abhorrent thing; they shall be put to death—their bloodguilt is upon them” (Leviticus 20:13). The Torah considers a homosexual act between two men to be an abhorrent thing (to’evah), punishable by death—a strong prohibition.

Islam:
"We also sent Lut : He said to his people : "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you? For ye practice your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds." Qur'an 7:80-81
"What! Of all creatures do ye come unto the males, and leave the wives your Lord created for you? Nay, but ye are forward folk." Qur'an 26:165

It's pretty clear that God is against it, so that should be enough. Temptation is not sin. The act is sin. And the sin leads to death.

Okay, we have established that the world's major three religions teach against homosexuality. That in itself can become a source of contention in a disciplined military unit, especially for the more radical groups like Islam.

Next we have to consider what it can do to the morale of a unit. I have no doubt that a sodomite can kill the enemy just as effectively as I. However, that does not mean I want to share a tent or shower with one. The sodomite is attracted to the same sex. Therefore, he will be attracted to whomever in a public shower. There's a reason why men and women do not shower together in the military or share the same tent. There's a reason why there are separate barracks for the sexes. That's because of the "sex issue." It cannot get anymore fundamental than that. The military will have to make "special accommodations" for the sodomites. If that happens, then there will be special sodomite housing, sodomite units, etc.

That brings us to the next issue. Can the military budget handle the cost of accommodating the sodomites? It's one thing to put a Baptist, a Mormon, and a Muslim in the same barrack or tent, but it's another to put a sodomite and a heterosexual together. I'm not "homophobic," but I do not like the idea of sharing a tent, shower, or room where privacy is gone and intimacy is great with someone attracted to my gender. It's certain that they will have to make special accommodations. They will then have to allow transgender, transsexual, and whatever other type of deviation is out there.

Furthermore, they will have to make "special rules" concerning "physical intimacy." Frankly, I would not want to see two men kissing regardless if they are in uniform or not. In light of that, they will have to make a rule that there is no display of affection. A married couple will be unable to walk hand-in-hand in the PX or embrace after coming home from a war zone. After all, if the sodomites cannot do it, then it will only be fair to bar heterosexuals. Yes, this is extreme and a bit melodramatic, but it is not outside the realm of possible.

Serving in the military is not a right. One enlists, is accepted, and serves. There is a reason why they do things the way they do in the military. It is to protect our country, the unit, and each other. The President, who has not spent a day serving, should leave the operation of the military to the experts: men and women who serve and know how.

No, the sodomites have no business in the military. It's not a matter of homophobia or whether or not they can be effective soldiers or sailors. Rather, it's a matter of practicality, unit morale and cohesion, and security.
